Extended Family Session at Verrado Founder’s Park | Verrado & West Valley Family Photographer
There’s something incredibly special about extended family sessions — the laughter, the stories, and multiple generations all together in one place. This beautiful family met me at Verrado Founders Park in Buckeye, AZ, and it was the perfect setting for a warm, joy-filled afternoon.
If you’ve been to Verrado, you know its charm: tree-lined paths, glowing Arizona light, and a peaceful small-town feel. Founders Park offers plenty of space for relaxed, natural moments that make extended family photography so meaningful.
We started with classic group portraits — grandparents surrounded by their children and grandchildren — then moved into smaller family groupings. Extended sessions allow time for everything: sibling photos, couple portraits, grandkids together, and each individual family unit. It’s the perfect way to update every combination while everyone is together in the West Valley.
What made this session so special was how naturally this family interacted. Between playful moments, laughter from the little ones, and heartfelt connections throughout the session, it was clear how close they all are.
Founders Park gave us beautiful soft light in the late afternoon, creating a warm golden glow through the trees — perfect for timeless family portraits in Arizona.
Extended family sessions like this are some of my favorites to photograph because they truly capture legacy — the roots and branches of a family all together in one frame.
If you’re planning an extended family session in Verrado, Buckeye, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, or anywhere in the Phoenix West Valley, I’d love to help you create something meaningful and lasting.
