This beautiful Mother’s Day session at Verrado Founder’s Park was especially meaningful because just last year, I photographed this sweet baby boy during his newborn session. Seeing him grow into such a happy, curious little boy was such a full-circle moment.

Verrado Founder’s Park provided the perfect backdrop for this Mother’s Day mommy-and-me session. The warm Arizona sunset, green grass, and tree-lined paths created such a soft and timeless setting for capturing genuine connection between mom and her little boy.
One of my favorite parts of motherhood sessions is focusing on the little in-between moments — tiny hands wrapped around mom’s neck, sweet giggles, forehead kisses, and the way little ones look at their mothers with complete trust and love.
This sweet boy brought so much personality to the session, and it was hard to believe he was once the sleepy newborn I photographed just months before.
