Cheer photos don’t have to look like traditional sports pictures. ❤️🖤
For this Woodlands Elite cheer photography session, we wanted something bold, clean, and full of personality. The rich red studio backdrop paired perfectly with their black and red uniforms and created portraits that feel more like an editorial sports campaign than standard cheer photos.
And getting these two sisters together made the session even better.
Cheer Photos With Personality
One of my favorite parts of photographing athletes is capturing more than the uniform.
Yes, we want the polished portraits—but I also want the laughs, attitude, confidence, and connection that show exactly who they are during this season of their lives.
For this session, we photographed the girls together in several poses, but kept things playful enough to capture their relationship naturally. The result is a gallery that’s equal parts cheer, sisterhood, and personality.
Studio Cheer Photography in Phoenix
As a Phoenix cheer photographer, I offer studio portraits for individual cheerleaders, siblings, teammates, and small groups.
Sessions can be customized around your athlete and team colors, with everything from bright and fun setups to darker, dramatic sports portraits.
These sessions are perfect for all-star cheerleaders, competitive athletes, team besties, siblings, or parents who want something beyond traditional picture-day photos.
I photograph athletes throughout Phoenix and the West Valley, including Peoria, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Buckeye, Verrado, Surprise, Glendale, and surrounding Arizona communities.
Because This Season Goes Fast
The uniforms change. Teams change. Athletes grow up.
Professional cheer portraits are a way to remember not only what team they were on, but who they were during that season—the confidence, friendships, accomplishments, and countless hours spent doing a sport they love.
If you’re looking for a cheer photographer in Phoenix, Arizona, I’d love to create a session that’s completely different from ordinary sports photos.
